Christmas Quotes!

Author's Note: I wrote this in Santa's point of view because I wanted to change up my writing a little bit. It was also fun to write. You get my favorite Christmas Quotes, just in a different point of view.

Hey I'm Santa. But you can call me Mr. C, or Santie, or The S man or whatever you want. But I got an email from... hold on lemme pull it up ... ah here it is! Becca C. I'll read it for you so that you can have a clearer understanding of what I'm talking about here.

Dear Santa,

My name is Becca and I am in 7th grade. I have to do this thing on quotes for my writing circle group. And if you're wondering, of course it's for my Language Arts class!  But anyways, i'm mentioning this to you because I can't think of any good quotes and/or sayings, and I've always liked Christmas Quotes but I can't think of any good ones! I thought of sending an email to you because I mean, you are like the biggest fan of Christmas since you have all your little elf people help you build toys and deliver them to kids all around the world. Well the point is, can you send me a couple of REALLY GREAT Christmas Quotes? Thanks!

The MOST WELL BEHAVED girl you will ever meet (sort of),
Becca C.

And there you have it. I have to think of some "GREAT" Christmas quotes just because I am "the biggest fan of Christmas." But might as well.

Dear Becca,

I have decided to be the nice Santa Clause that I am and give you a couple of "GREAT" quotes.
1.) Let's be naughty and save Santa the trip.
2.) He who has no Christmas in his heart will never find Christmas under a tree.
3.) A lovely thing about Christmas is that it's compulsory, like a thunderstorm, and we all go through it together.
4.) Christmas is a time when you get homesick - even when you're home.
5.) Santa... I'm sorry I was NAUGHTY but I have to say I am really GOOD at it...
I hope those quotes are up to your expectations. Have a very Merry Christmas!

The biggest fan of Christmas (sort of),
S.C.

POLTERGEIST

Authors Note: This is to show how much I love this movie and why it is so awesome!
The best movie ever created was POLTERGEIST. This is the best movie ever created because it is horror. Horror movies are totally awesome. I love this one because it has a lot of action it was the scariest movie I have ever seen. I was watching it with my best friend and we were both screaming into our pillows. It’s about this 6-year old girl and she gets “sucked into the television.” The most famous saying in the movie is “They’re here.” What is super scary about that saying is that she says it really quiet, slow, and ghostlike. “They” are the “TV people.” I can say no more because then it will give the rest of the movie away.

Winter Break!

Over Winter Break I usually just sit around and do absolutely nothing. I guess you could say that it’s a tradition because I plan on being lazy again! But I sometimes will make a snowman with my younger brother or have snowball fights with him. But the snowball fights always end up bad because one of us gets hit square in the face and it hurts because it’s frozen! So I usually just stick to making snowmen. I’ll drink a lot of hot chocolate and eat a lot of baked goods that my mom makes. Such as peanut butter and chocolate fudge, thin oatmeal cookies, and small sugar cookies that I get to decorate. That is about as active as I get. Other than that, I just sleep and play the occasional board game with my family. Once Christmas comes, I usually figure out how to work my new stuff and relax. Then we have a huge feast with chicken, ham, mashed potatoes, and all of the thanksgiving type stuff. When Winter Break finally comes to an end I dread going back to school.

Winter

Authors Note: I wrote a short paragraph describing winter because to me, winter is the best season of them all.

Winter is a time of love and joy. When Christmas comes around, you can walk around the neighborhood and see all of these colorful lights, with inflatable Santa’s. When Christmas Day finally comes children are running around with their new toys and seeing that Santa Clause ate his cookies and milk the night before. You go shopping and you see young children sitting on Santa’s lap. The snow falls gracefully down from the sky and sits on the bushes. The lightest snowfall makes the ground shimmer and people happy. Winter is always the happiest season of the year.

Bubbles

Authors Note: I wrote about bubbles because these words describe how unique bubbles can be.
Bouncy
Unique
Ballistic
Bubbly
Light
Energetic
Shimmery

Captain Beardy and The Squid

AUTHORS NOTE: I WROTE A FANTASY PIRATE STORY BECAUSE FANTASY'S ARE FUN TO WRITE!

Once upon a time, there were a group of 17 Pirates on a big, mossy, wooden ship. The Captain, Captain Beardy, was always the boss of everything and everyone. He was a tall man, about 6, 3”, he always wore his special sparkly purple pirate hat, and had a long black beard, where he got his name, Captain Beardy. But these details are not important. For one day, Captain Beardy was no longer the boss of everything in sight.

One day, Captain Beardy was on the ship, when the ship started rocking back and forth. He looked overboard and for a split second he saw a tip of a giant, purple tentacle. He called over his co-captain, Steve. He said “We have a problem Steve. It’s back.” Steve then had a confused expression on his face. “What’s back captain?” Captain Beardy couldn’t believe that Steve couldn’t remember what’s back. “Remember? That big-“, “AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP ME MATEY!!!!!!!!!!” The Captain and Steve quickly looked toward the direction of the scream. The last thing that Captain Beardy ever saw was the tip of a big, purple tentacle…
